Montreal Highlights Festival Girl's Night

I was lucky enough to attend Koko hosting Anita Lo with Em.

We really enjoyed our dinner, we were surrounded by food critics (including one koo-koo one which was great entertainment!) apparently and were maybe not prioritized, the first two courses took close to 2 hours! But it was a great experience, thanks Em for joining and mostly for the entertainment of seeing you eavesdrop on everyone.

On opening night there were definitely some glitches with the service, but the food was fabulous, read more about it here on Miss A's. Here are some previews.

Closet Expansion: Long time...

I know it's been a while since I've posted, but I think February was the epitome of my winter blues. Anyway, this is just a preview of what's to come!

First, here is my outdoor attire at the National Ice Cider Festival and Competition held in Québec apple country Rougemont.

Hubby and I had a great time drinking and eating and warming ourselves at the outdoor fires.

Also quickly about my two new favourite purchases. I have been living in these jeans since I bought them. They are comfy, sit a bit higher and fit perfectly to the just below ankle length (at last no hemming!). It's the grey version and I was lucky enough to grab it for 18$ on sale, I got the black ones for my sister, they were cut longer with the back pockets a bit higher.

Jeans Banana Republic (similar here); blouse Gap (only in Canada).

As you see in this post, I have been obsessed with this Equipment shirt and finding a suitable version. And I think I may have found it from Gap. It's a cotton-silk blend which I really love I have a few pieces from Gap in this blend and it's pretty perfect. I don't feel too fancy wearing it but I love the luxurious feel. The only thing I would have changed would be the dip dye, but in this nude purpley grey it's not very obvious.

Anyway for the more to come part, I will be posting my travel wardrobe as well as a fashion diary with interspersed food entries for good measure chronicling my visit to LA for Spring Break. Please check often and leave your comments!
